Day 1: Arrival in Athens - A Taste of Ancient Greece

Temple of Olympian Zeus: Visit this nearby temple for an introduction to ancient Greek architecture and mythology, giving a quick yet awe-inspiring glimpse of Greece’s classical heritage.
Evening
Welcome Dinner in Plaka: Enjoy a traditional Greek meal at a taverna in Plaka, with delicious dishes like moussaka, souvlaki, and baklava. The group can get to know each other and receive an overview of the itinerary for the coming days.
Day 2: Athens - Mythology & Philosophy
Morning
Acropolis Tour: Start the day with a guided tour of the Acropolis, exploring iconic sites like the Parthenon, Erechtheion, and Temple of Athena Nike. The guide will provide insights into the historical and cultural significance of these structures and the mythology surrounding them.

Delphi Archaeological Museum: See the Charioteer of Delphi and other notable artifacts.
Late lunch in Arachova: Stop at the mountain village of Arachova for a traditional Greek meal.

Day 5: Mycenae - The Heart of the Mycenaean Civilisation

Drive to Mycenae: Head to the legendary city of Mycenae, famously home to Agamemnon, the leader of the Greeks in the Trojan War.
Mycenae Archaeological Site: Explore the famous Lion Gate and Grave Circle A, where treasures and masks were discovered, including the famous "Mask of Agamemnon." Dive into the history of the Mycenaean civilization, its influence on Greek mythology, and its role in early Greek history.
