Day 1: Arrival in Athens - A Taste of Ancient Greece

  • Arrival in Athens: Check into your accommodations and freshen up.

  • Orientation Walk: Take a short guided walk around the Plaka neighborhood to get oriented. Stroll through the charming cobblestone streets lined with cafés, souvenir shops, and historic architecture.

  • Temple of Olympian Zeus: Visit this nearby temple for an introduction to ancient Greek architecture and mythology, giving a quick yet awe-inspiring glimpse of Greece’s classical heritage.

Evening

  • Welcome Dinner in Plaka: Enjoy a traditional Greek meal at a taverna in Plaka, with delicious dishes like moussaka, souvlaki, and baklava. The group can get to know each other and receive an overview of the itinerary for the coming days.

    Day 2: Athens - Mythology & Philosophy

Morning

Afternoon

  • Delphi Archaeological Museum: See the Charioteer of Delphi and other notable artifacts.

  • Late lunch in Arachova: Stop at the mountain village of Arachova for a traditional Greek meal.

Evening
