travel - Getting to Naxos:

From the UK: Flights to Athens are available from most international airports. For flights please check: www.skyscanner.net, www.aegeanair.com, or www.easyjet.com. There are different options - at certain times of the year you can get direct flight (from Bristol, Gatwick and Luton) to Mykonos Island which is directly North of Naxos then it is a short 45 minute ferry trip to Naxos or to Santorini which is a little further away. (around a 3 hours ferry)

Once in Athens then the options are a further short flight to Naxos which takes approx 40 mins, or Ferry from Piraeus which is around 4-5 hours. Please also look at: sky express or olympic airways

For ferries see: www.ferryhopper.com or www.ferries.gr.

If you are feeling really adventurous and are mindful of your carbon footprint you can drive to Italy and then get a ferry from one of the Italian ports or all the way to Athens and then ferry as above.

From Greece: Ferries leave from Piraeus and Rafina regularly.

Please Note: Flights & Ferry costs are not included in the Naxos Creative course fees. If you need any further help with booking either flights or ferry please get in touch.
